What the title says! Campsite holds 13 people, 4 cars right across the street from cove. Fire dept fills air and there will be lots of culling as this is the first weekend back since October. The campsite is $140 for 2 nights, so split between a few people, it could be reasonable. There are great facilities and it‘s a really fun time. I‘d be arriving early evening on Friday April 26 and leave Sunday around 11:00 am. Happy to carpool, too. If I can get even 4 people to commit, I‘ll make the reservation soon.

The Members Night planned for May has been rescheduled to June to make room for Brandi Mueller‘s Bikini Atoll Diving and History presentation. Brandi has been a diving professional for 20 years and a captain for more that 15 years. Her photos and writing have appeared in many publications, including National Geographic, Scuba Diving, and Lonely Planet books and magazines. Natasha Benjamin will be joining us to discuss the state of the Kelp in Northern California. Natasha is a Marine scientist and filmmaker; she is media director for Marine Research and Exploration (MARE), founder of Mermaid Warrior (mermaidwarrior.com) and is currently producing a film about the collapse of our Kelp ecosystems (https://www.sequoiasofthesea.com/).
