General Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month. Please feel free to join us in person or at the Zoom link below. Mike Boom's presentation this month is "Faces of the Philippines" put together from 4K footage shot in the Philippines from 2019 to last May. It takes a look at locations around the Philippines ranging from pristine coral reefs to mucky macro to pitch black open water. It looks at the big, the small, the beautiful, the ugly, and the weird. Some of them even have faces!

Mike worked as the underwater video pro on the liveaboard dive boat Nai’a in Fiji and sells video footage that’s been used in documentaries, commercials and educational videos. He's written articles for dive magazines and websites, and regularly inflicts presentations on dive clubs around the Bay Area like Aqua Tutus. He's been a frequent presenter with the club and is looking forward to seeing Aqua Tutors again.

Mike recommends coming to the meeting in person for the best video experience: projected with a high-def color-corrected projector on a large(ish) screen, free of Zoom compression, loss of resolution, and the bumps and stutters of internet connections. And you can enjoy company while watching.
