Conditions:
The day began with moderate weather and calm seas. Although swells were predicted, the south beach remained unaffected early on. As forecasted, conditions shifted by the afternoon, and we experienced the full impact of 4–6 foot swells.

Equipment Issues:
At least half of the divers encountered equipment problems. Some issues were brought to the site, while others developed during setup or use. BCD valves were a common point of failure.
